What are the benefits for photovoltaic (PV) systems? Applying SurfaShield G to a photovoltaic panel increases its energy efficiency by about 2% right after application. This is due to the increase in the transparency of the photovoltaic panel glass: the coating reduces the glass surface roughness, which allows more energy to be achieved from the solar cell. In addition, an increase of 3 to 7% is achieved when the glass surface remains clean, without particles, dust or stains that negatively affect the efficiency deficiency of the solar panel.
