SurfaMix C will protect against the incrustation of dust, humidity, water. It can be used as a primer to improve adhesion to surfaces.

With SurfaMix C a mortar becomes more malleable: adhesive coating (jointing), concrete, waxed concrete, coating, cement, lime, adhesive mortar, plaster...

Latex and silicone free plasticizer – Water reducer – Air entrainer SurfaMix C is a water-based liquid formulation, which can be mixed with cement powders to improve their adhesion and bonding to the application surfaces. SurfaMix C improves workability, facilitates mixing and the open time is almost doubled, allowing larger mixing volumes and increasing workability during application. SurfaMix C promotes surface adhesion and bonding and reduces the penetration of dirt and weathering on a cement-based surface. In addition, SurfaMix C prevents unwanted moisture, which can rise/infiltrate through a structure (rising damp) or penetrate from outside (condensation, rising damp). The hardened cementitious mixture is more durable against surface corrosion, negative water pressure, threat of frost and extreme weather conditions.

APPLICATION SURFACES: Exterior and interior coatings, mortars, masonry coatings, cement-based mortar/grout, patching, repair and reprofiling mortars, tile/stone adhesives, floor screeds/concrete coverings (decorative, waxed, tadelakt, lime, etc.).

Method of application: Add SurfaMix C directly into the cement mix, at a rate of 5 to 10 by weight of the cement used. You can also add 2.5 to 5 kg of SurfaMix C per 50 kg of cement. To strengthen the bonding mortars, adhesives or grouting mortars of tiles, slabs, tiles and stones, add 0.5 kg of SurfaMix C to 25 kg. SurfaMix C cannot be used as a plasticizer in reinforced concrete. For better water repellency, use SurfaPore C on the surface.
