A metal surface treated with SurfaGuard Metal also improves the application and subsequent adhesion of a polymer coating, paint.
SurfaGuard Metal is a water-based solution derived from nanotechnology, which prevents metal corrosion. The treated surface makes the metal passivated and a 3D network of nanoparticles prevents corrosive agents from reacting with the metal. On certain corroded, ferrous metals, SurfaGuards Metals can destroy the corrosion by passivation, leaving white particles on the surface. On stainless steel, the product renovates, and also cleans the stainless steel surface.
The corrosion rate is reduced by up to 10 times, while the appearance (shiny or matte) of the metal is preserved:
