SurfaDur R is an innovative elastomeric coating combining reduced thermal conductivity, thermal reflectance properties and extended working time properties for liquid membrane applications. Based on a proprietary modified polyaspartic technology, the entire volume of this applied liquid membrane is transformed into dry film thickness, increasing the cost-effectiveness of the application ensuring extreme mechanical and tensile strength values, with exceptional elasticity and adhesion strength to the substrate. SurfaDur R ThermoDry exhibits unique weather resistance, even under puddles or high UV irradiation values. While SurfaDur R ThermoDry cures quickly, less than 24h, it allows an extended working time (45 min at 25°C) for easy application. After curing, the resulting monolithic membrane becomes a barrier against water and vapor/gas. SurfaDur R ThermoDry is highly recommended for waterproofing and protecting exposed concrete roofs, cement slabs, mosaic cement screeds, roofs, parapets, existing TPO, EPDM or bituminous roofing systems, bituminous membranes, metal roofs (anodized, stainless steel, steel or aluminum), but also on already applied acrylic coatings, PU-acrylic hybrids and 1k or 2k polyurethane-based coatings.
